KNOXVILLE – Another elite transfer is on his way to Knoxville for a visit.

Tennessee hoops will host Notre Dame transfer forward Jalen Haralson for an official visit on Tuesday, as first reported by Mike Wilson of VolQuest.

Haralson announced his intention to transfer from Notre Dame on Apr. 2 and is taking his first official visit to Rocky Top as Rick Barnes looks to secure one of the top scoring forwards in the portal. A native of Anderson (IN), Haralson averaged 16.2 points and 4.0 rebounds per game while playing 26.6 minutes a night during his freshman campaign.

The 6-foot-7, 220 pound forward appeared in 27 games for the Fighting Irish, starting 23, shot 51.5% from the field, and also added 2.6 assists and 0.5 steals per game.

Haralson is also considering Ohio State and North Carolina, but Tennessee will get the first opportunity to shut Haralson’s recruitment down.
