Former Vols were all over the field in Week 4 of the NFL season, turning in impressive performances across the league.
Here’s how the VFLs produced this week.
James Pearce (Atlanta Falcons DE)
Pearce recorded just one tackle in Atlanta’s 34-27 victory over Washington
Joshua Palmer (Buffalo Bills WR)
Hauled in two catches for 25 yards in the Bills’ 31-19 win over the Saints.
Cade Mays (Carolina Panthers OL)
Mays logged all 69 offensive snaps at center and did not allow a sack in Carolina’s 42-13 loss against New England.
Darnell Wright (Chicago Bears OL)
Wright was inactive for the Bears’ 25-24 win over Las Vegas.
Dylan Sampson (Cleveland Browns RB)
Sampson played minimally in Cleveland’s loss against Detroit, finishing with -2 yards on just one carry.
Cedric Tillman (Cleveland Browns WR)
Caught one pass for six yards in the Browns’ 34-10 loss to Detroit.
Joe Milton III (Dallas Cowboys QB)
Milton did not see any game action in the Cowboys’ 40-40 tie with Green Bay.
Kamal Hadden (Green Bay Packers CB)
Hadden was a healthy scratch on Sunday night for the Packers.
Derek Barnett (Houston Texans DE)
Played just 11 defensive snaps on Sunday and recorded one tackle in Houston’s shutout win over Tennessee.
Darrell Taylor (Houston Texans DE)
Taylor was inactive for the Texans on Sunday.
Jakob Johnson (Houston Texans FB)
Johnson was placed on injured reserve with a hamstring injury.
Omarr Norman-Lott (Kansas City Chiefs DT)
Played 29% of snaps and did not record any stats in the Chiefs 37-20 win over Baltimore
Trey Smith (Kansas City Chiefs OL)
Played every offensive snap and didn’t allow a sack in Kansas City’s win over the Ravens.
Jaylen McCollough (Los Angeles Rams SAF)
Recorded three solo tackles in the Rams’ victory over Indianapolis.
Byron Young (Los Angeles Rams LB)
The NFL’s sack leader added another to his total on Sunday, finishing with three tackles and two quarterback hits.
Dont’e Thornton Jr. (Las Vegas Raiders WR)
Played 60% of the offensive snaps but failed to record a catch on two targets.
Matthew Butler (Miami Dolphins DE)
The Dolphins take on the Jets tonight at 7:15 p.m. ET on ESPN.
Jaylen Wright (Miami Dolphins RB)
Wright will return from injury tonight after missing the first three weeks of the season.
Theo Jackson (Minnesota Vikings SAF)
Recorded one tackle as Minnesota lost 24-21 to Pittsburgh in Dublin.
Joshua Dobbs (New England Patriots Quarterback)
In his season debut, Dobbs threw one pass and added three carries on the ground.
Alontae Taylor (New Orleans Saints Cornerback)
Recorded four tackles in New Orleans’ loss to Buffalo.
Velus Jones Jr. (New Orleans Saints RB)
Jones did not record any game stats in the Saints’ loss to the Bills.
Alvin Kamara (New Orleans Saints RB)
Kamara rushed for 70 yards on 15 carries and added four receptions for 2 yards in the Saints’ 31-19 loss to the Bills.
Jalin Hyatt (New York Giants WR)
Hyatt was active for the fourth straight week for New York, but once again recorded zero offensive stats in the Giants’ 21-18 win against the Chargers.
Jauan Jennings (San Francisco 49ers WR)
Jennings hauled in two catches for 24 yards in San Francisco’s 26-21 loss to Jacksonville.
Morgan Cox (Tennessee Titans LS)
Started at long snapper for the Titans’ 26-0 loss to Houston.
Shy Tuttle (Tennessee Titans DT)
Tuttle played 21% of the defensive snaps on Sunday, recording two tackles in Tennessee’s loss to the Texans.
