On Tuesday, one of Tennessee’s priority 2026 recruits will come off the board, with the Vols in the final three.

Four-star forward Bo Ogden will announce his commitment on Tuesday at 2 p.m. ET, with Tennessee, Texas, and Purdue remaining as his finalists, as first reported by Gerry Hamilton of OnTexasFootball.

A premier player out of Westlake High School in Austin, Texas, Ogden is ranked as the No. 31 prospect nationally and has developed a reputation as one of the top shooters in the 2026 cycle.

Over the summer on the 3SSB circuit, Ogden averaged 20 points per game while shooting 47% from the field, 46% from three, and 87% from the free-throw line.

Elite shooting numbers for the rising senior.

This recruitment also carries a little added suspense for Vols fans.

Ogden’s father, Chris Ogden, was a part of Rick Barnes’ staff in Knoxville during the 2015 and 2016 seasons and now serves as the general manager for Texas basketball.

Despite the ties to Texas, Ogden spoke highly about Tennessee and his relationship with Rick Barnes over the summer.

“Tennessee is amazing and Coach Barnes is like a grandfather to me,” Ogden told On3. “Obviously my dad played for him and coached with him for a long time. I used to live in Knoxville and I have looked up to guys like Dalton Knecht and Chaz Lanier.”

With Purdue also in the mix, Ogden’s decision will draw national attention across the country.

For the Vols, landing him would mark the first commitment in the 2026 cycle for Rick Barnes and Co.
