KNOXVILLE – Tennessee’s top ranked commitment in the 2027 class, four-star wide receiver Kesean Bowman, officially shut down his recruitment on Wednesday, announcing the decision with @rockytopnow on social media.

Bowman is ranked the No. 56 overall prospect nationally, a top-10 wide receiver and the No. 3 player in Tennessee according to the 247Sports Composite. Listed at 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds, the Brentwood Academy standout committed to the Vols on March 28 after previously being pledged to Oregon.

He delivered a strong junior season in 2025, earning semifinalist honors for Tennessee Division II AAA Mr. Football. Bowman finished the year with 49 catches for 665 yards and 11 touchdowns while helping Brentwood Academy go 11-1 and reach the state championship game.

Bowman is one of two receivers committed to Tennessee thus far, with South Pittsburg (TN) native DaYon “DayDay” Cooper joining the class on Monday.
