It’s Tennessee offensive line appreciation week, apparently.

On Tuesday, we saw former five-star tackle David Sanders earn a spot on On3’s 2025 Preseason True Freshman All-American Team

Now, Tennessee transfer guard Wendell Moe Jr. joins the festivities.

Moe, a redshirt junior by way of Arizona, was named at right guard on On3’s Preseason All-Transfer Portal Team this Wednesday.

At 6-foot-2, 330-pounds, Moe recorded a team-high 760 offensive snaps for the Wildcats in 2024, allowing zero sacks, committing no penalties, and issuing just one quarterback hit.

Though Moe played predominantly at left guard during his time at Arizona, he’s shown versatility at both guard positions during his collegiate career, logging over 120 snaps at right guard in 2024.

“Wherever they need me to play, I will do it,” Moe told reporters. “I like playing both sides really, but I will do whatever my coach wants me to do, I’m going to do it.”

Since Moe’s arrival on Rocky Top, he’s wasted no time picking where he left in Tucson. He’s been operating with the first-team offense at right guard throughout fall camp and is expected to solidify the right side alongside David Sanders when the Vols kick off their season against Syracuse at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

“Guy plays physical,” says UT offensive line coach Glen Elarbee. “Love some Wo-Wo. He was really quiet to start. He has a way of igniting everybody when he does let out passion, but super physical in the run game. Highly intelligent. It’s crazy. It’s like football smart.”

Between Moe’s experience on the field and the upside of true freshman David Sanders, the right side of Tennessee’s offensive line could become Joey Aguilar’s best friend this fall.
