Former Florida head coach Urban Meyer will be honored on Nov. 22 when UF hosts Tennessee.

Meyer will get a National Football Foundation On-Campus Salute, whatever that is, when the Gators host the Vols, per a UF release.

“During the NFF Hall of Fame On-Campus Salutes, each member of the 2025 NFF College Football Hall of Fame Class will return to his respective school to accept a Hall of Fame plaque that will stay on permanent display at the institution,” the release states.

So Meyer will be honored on the field during the game. It will be quite the homecoming. Should have the home crowd fired up.

Just what we need.

Meyer coached the Gators from 2005-10 posting an overall record of 65-15 and winning a pair of national titles in 2006 and 2008.

He never lost to Tennessee, as we all remember. We all were relieved when he left.

It seems Florida will try to summon that Meyer Magic against one of their hated rivals when the Vols come to town.
