Vol Football May Be Close To Landing Another 5-Star Offensive Lineman

Tennessee Football made a big push for another 5-star prospect this past weekend.

It was a successful push from Josh Heupel and crew, as elite interior offensive lineman Darius Gray now has the Vols at the top of his list.

Gray is one of the top players in the 2026 recruiting class. The Virginia native is the No. 1 interior lineman per 247 Sports.

“Tennessee is definitely going to be a school that we’re going to consider when it’s decision time,” Gray said. “Tennessee has always been at the top of the list for me.”

Gray has also visited Ohio State numerous times and has locked in an official visit with the Buckeyes this week.

While Ohio State will surely be a threat to land Gray, he has previously stated that Tennessee will be “hard to beat.”

Gray, who is listed at 6-foot-3 and 285 pounds, holds other offers from LSU, Penn State, Clemson, and Georgia — and pretty much any other school worth mentioning.

Everybody wants him.

Tennessee currently has two 5-star prospects committed in the ‘26 class — quarterback Faizon Brandon and offensive tackle Gabriel Osenda.
