Liam Doyle has been named the Pitcher of the Year by Perfect Game USA.

Doyle finished his season campaign with a 3.20 ERA, 10-4 record, and 164Ks on 95IP.

Doyle finishes his career at Tennessee with the most single-season strikeouts in program history breaking Luke Hochevar’s record that was set in the 2005 season.

This award comes just a week after he was named as one of the three finalists for the Golden Spikes Award. That award is given annually to the best college player in the country.

Doyle was also awarded the SEC Pitcher of the Year award last month.

This latest award is just another amazing accolade for one of UT’s most decorated pitchers.
