Tony V has officially done it again. He has landed another highly ranked player out of the portal.

The Vols acquired submarine style RHP Brady Frederick from ETSU on Wednesday.

Frederick was the SoCon Pitcher of the Year and had a 2.67 ERA and 0.89 WHIP this past season.

“It means everything,” said the Knoxville native who attended Bearden High School. “My neighbors are Vols fans. I have so many friends that go to UT.”

Frederick was on campus yesterday for his visit and committed today.

This won’t be the last player the BaseVols land out of the portal in the coming weeks as Landon Mack, pitcher from Rutgers, and Aiden Robbins from Seton Hall are also set for visits.
