The Vols and Boilermakers are set to meet once again.

Tennessee basketball has locked in a major non-conference series with Purdue, scheduling a home-and-home matchup for the 2026-2027 seasons, the University announced Wednesday morning.

The Vols will travel to Mackey Arena on Dec. 12, 2026, to face the Boilermakers in one of the toughest road environments in college basketball.

Purdue will make the return trip to Knoxville the following year, visiting Thompson-Boling Arena on Dec. 11, 2027.

Tennessee and Purdue have met seven times, with the Boilermakers holding a 5-2 lead in the all-time series.

Their first meeting came on Dec. 6, 1980, with Tennessee claiming a 78-69 win.

The most recent matchup occurred on Mar. 21, 2024, in the Elite Eight in Detroit, where Purdue slid past the Vols 72-66 to advance to the Final Four.

Tennessee returns to action this Saturday at 3 p.m. ET, hosting Northern Kentucky as non-conference play continues.
