The Vols 2026 class may be facing its first major test.

Four-star athlete Legend Bey out of North Forney High in Texas, officially visited Ohio State last weekend for the Buckeyes’ win over Penn State.

The buzz coming out of Columbus has Vol fans on flip watch.

“OSU is picking up momentum,” said On3’s Steve Wiltfong. “It’s trending for Ohio State.”

Bey, listed 5-foot-10.5 and 175 pounds, is ranked No. 361 nationally and is projected to transition to wide receiver at the next level.

He committed to Tennessee in June after taking official visits to UT, West Virginia, Duke, and Texas A&M.

His trip to Columbus was also an official visit, and the timing, paired with Wiltfong’s reporting, has sparked concern in Knoxville.

For the Vols, the challenge now becomes holding off a national power with momentum and an undefeated record on its side.

Bey remains publicly committed to Tennessee, but with a little over a month until signing day, this recruitment is far from over.
