Tennessee Lands Loyola Chicago Transfer Forward Miles Rubin

KNOXVILLE – One of the top shot-blockers in college basketball is on his way to Rocky Top.
Loyola Chicago transfer center Miles Rubin has committed to Tennessee after taking a weekend visit to Knoxville, giving the Vols one of the top defensive big men in the transfer portal.
Rubin, one of the leading Atlantic 10 rim protectors the last three seasons, finished 12th nationally with 2.3 blocks per game while adding 11.3 points per contest. He earned A-10 All‑Defensive Team honors in both 2024‑25 and 2025‑26 and arrives on Rocky Top with 237 career blocks across three seasons with the Ramblers.
The Chicago native started all 33 games this season and recorded six double‑doubles as a junior. His best performance came on the road at VCU on Jan. 30, when he posted 21 points and 10 rebounds on 64.3% shooting.
Listed at 6-foot-10 and 220 pounds, Rubin shot 58.5% from the field while adding 2.3 assists and 0.7 steals in 29.7 minutes per game.
