KNOXVILLE – Rick Barnes and Co. are looking to add their fourth commitment in the Class of 2026.
Four star forward Chris Washington Jr. is set to visit Rocky Top this week, as first reported by Mike Wilson of VolQuest.
Originally from Murfreesboro, Washington Jr. starred at Providence Christian Academy in Lilburn (GA), and is one of the top uncommitted prospects left in the 2026 class. Ranked No. 43 nationally and the top player in the state of Tennessee, Washington Jr. was previously committed to Nate Oats and Alabama before backing off his pledge on Nov. 17.
Tennessee offered the elite in state talent on Jan. 12, and this will mark his first visit to Knoxville. His trip comes as the Vols look to close out their 2026 class with one more high level scoring addition.
If he were to commit, Washington Jr. would become the fourth and likely final piece of Tennessee’s 2026 haul, joining four star forwards Ralph Scott and Manny Green along with Chicago point guard Marquis Clark.
