KNOXVILLE – For the second consecutive recruiting cycle, Tennessee headed across the pond and landed four‑star offensive tackle Niko Kampas over Michigan, Auburn and Vanderbilt, Rivals reported. Originally from Germany, Kampas grew up playing volleyball before finding football and joined the NFL Academy in 2024 after competing for the Düsseldorf Panthers.

Listed at 6‑foot‑7.5 and 294 pounds, Kampas is ranked as the No. 226 overall prospect in the 2027 class and the No. 1 player from England in the 247Sports Recruiting rankings. He now becomes Tennessee’s top‑rated offensive lineman in the cycle for OL coach Glen Elarbee.

Kampas is the 17th commitment in Tennessee’s 2027 class and the third offensive line pledge, joining Murfreesboro native Princeton Uwaifo and four‑star offensive tackle Q’Mari Hudson.
