The roster building for Tennessee hoops is officially underway.

Belmont graduate transfer guard Tyler Lundblade is on campus at Tennessee for an official visit beginning Monday and running through Wednesday, according to On3’s Joe Tipton.

Lundblade, a Dallas native, is widely viewed as one of the top shooters available in the transfer portal and would become an excellent backcourt addition for Rick Barnes.

Lundblade averaged 15.6 points this season while shooting 40.6 percent from three and an absurd 93.4% from the free-throw line. The 6‑foot‑5 guard has been one of the most efficient perimeter scorers in college basketball over the past two years. As a junior and in his first season at Belmont after transferring from TCU, he set a school record by shooting 48.1 percent from three across 33 games while averaging 12.1 points.

Currently ranked as the No. 10 overall prospect in the transfer portal by 247Sports, Lundblade would fill an immediate need for Tennessee following the departure of its top shooter, Ja’Kobi Gillespie.

Tennessee will look to be aggressive this portal cycle, with around 3-5 transfers expected to be added once the transfer portal officially opens on April 7.
