Major Changes: Fanrun Adds Tony Basilio, Adjusts Daily Lineup

Fanrun Radio is delighted to announce today the addition of the iconic Tony Basilio Show to the station’s on-air lineup.
Basilio will air on WKGN 1340 AM each weekday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. beginning Monday, September 1, 2025.
With this major shakeup in the Knoxville radio market comes more significant changes to the daily lineup here at the station.
Under Review will be going away after a tremendous run with Bob Baskerville and Sam Beard over the last year.
Bob is going to The Drive. Sam is going to TalkSports.
Speaking of TalkSports, the highly-rated morning show will be moving back an hour to accomodate the new schedule. It will now air from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Under Review producer Brett Hullander will join The Chase.
Fanrun Radio’s New Lineup:
8 a.m. to 11 a.m — TalkSports with Jon Reed, Cody McClure, Sam Beard, and Bubba
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. — The Tony Basilio Show
1 p.m. to 3 p.m. — The Chase with Chase Thomas, Brett Hullander, and a rotating cast of local media
3 p.m. to 6 p.m. — The Drive with Russell Smith, Bob Baskerville, Bear, and Walker Smith
6 p.m. to 8 p.m. — Overtime with William Patteson and Allie Campbell

The Tony Basilio Show, as Knoxville’s Official Voice of the Common Fan, will substantially strengthen the Fanrun daily sports radio lineup, which provides an all-local presence for 12 hours each day.
A Tennessee radio trailblazer and UT grad, Basilio will be moving to WKGN after a long, successful stint at WJBE. Having first arrived on the Knoxville airwaves in 1994, Basilio now boasts more than 30 years of experience as a trusted voice and entertainer in the market.
