Rodney Garner is on a damn roll.

Premier four-star edge rusher Jordan Carter has committed to Tennessee, per Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett, giving the Vols another signature addition to their 2026 defensive line class.

Carter, out of Douglas County High in Douglasville, Georgia decommitted from Texas A&M Nov. 1 and was in attendance for Tennessee’s loss to Oklahoma that same day.

The 6-foot-3 Carter ranks as the No. 203 overall player in the country and a top-25 prospect in Georgia.

He took an official visit to Knoxville the weekend of Nov. 15 for Tennessee’s 42-9 win over New Mexico State, followed by trips to Georgia Tech for their loss to Pitt and Auburn for the Iron Bowl.

Ultimately, Carter chose the Vols over Georgia Tech and Auburn, strengthening Tennessee’s recruiting momentum in the front seven.

With Carter now on board, Tennessee’s 2026 defensive line cycle is shaping up as one of the deepest in recent memory, giving the Vols a foundation to build around as they continue stacking talent for the future.
