God bless, Brian Hartline.

The Ohio State offensive coordinator’s decision to take the USF head coaching job opened the door and the Vols jumped all over it.

Four-star athlete Legend Bey announced on National Signing Day that he is re-committing to Tennessee and has signed, per Tennessee Football social media’s.

Bey had flipped from Ohio State on Nov. 10, but the coaching shakeup in Columbus shifted the momentum back to Knoxville.

Listed at 5-foot-10.5, 175-pounds, Bey is ranked No. 149 nationally in the 2026 cycle.

He originally committed to Tennessee in June after taking official visits to UT, West Virginia, Duke, and Texas A&M.

While he starred at quarterback at North Forney High School in Forney, Texas, the Vols project him to transition to wide receiver at the next level.

His versatility could be even more valuable, however.

With Tennessee not signing a true running back during the early period, Bey could give Josh Heupel flexibility to use him in multiple roles once he arrives on Rocky Top.

For Bey, he has a chance to carve out a future at Tennessee in a multitude of ways.
