FAYETTEVILLE – Former Tennessee shortstop Manny Marin is staying in the SEC. The draft‑eligible sophomore announced his commitment to Arkansas on social media, becoming the latest Vol to reveal his transfer destination after utility player Hunter High committed to Jacksonville State yesterday.
Marin appeared in 55 of Tennessee’s 60 games this season, hitting .289 with a .338 OBP while driving in 43 runs and hitting 9 home runs across 197 at-bats. His production took a step forward from his freshman campaign, when he hit .283 with 3 home runs and 23 RBI in 53 games during the 2025 season.
Listed at 6-foot-1 and 184 pounds, Marin now looks to help Arkansas chase its first national championship in program history.
