The Vols are in win or go home mode tonight against Wake Forest.

After losing last night’s game by a score of 7-6 Tennessee is a win away from the super regionals or a loss away from their season being over.

UT will have a number of arms still available tonight including Tegan Kuhns, who will be the presumptive starter as he has been for a handful of rubber matches this season.

Tanner Franklin, Brayden Krenzel, Dylan Loy, Austin Breedlove, and Andrew Behnke should also be available for some potential roles out of the pen.

Tony Vitello after the game last night said Liam Doyle has even been in his ear trying to potentially pitch this evening in some type of capacity with the season on the line.

Wake Forest’s pitching lineup tonight will be relatively depleted with the four games that they’ve already played this week. However, their bats still look pretty stout throughout the lineup.

Tony V and the Vols have won elimination games before in these situations. It will be imperative for them to get off to a good start on the mound.

The winner tonight will face off against Arkansas in Fayetteville this upcoming weekend.

“Season on the line (tonight), I’d expect it to almost double in noise. There needs to be a showing and a will and a want from our crowd,” Andrew Fischer said.
