Tennessee wide receiver Chris Brazzell is already generating serious first-round buzz.
On Monday, college football analyst Brooks Austin, better known as “The Film Guy” and a friend of the program, tweeted a bold projection for the redshirt junior.
So far in the 2025 season, Brazzell’s production has justified the early draft hype.
Through five games, he’s piled up 31 receptions for 531 yards and seven touchdowns, cementing his role as Aguilar's top option and the SEC’s most productive wideout.
At 6-foot-5, the Midland, Texas native has the frame and speed scouts drool over.
He’s also not just winning jump balls– he’s separating downfield and turning short throws into chunk plays, proving he possesses the full arsenal of a top-tier receiver.
After transferring from Tulane, Brazzell’s first year in Knoxville was quiet, only catching 29 passes for 333 yards and two touchdowns before the arrival of Joey Aguilar from App State changed everything.
The 2026 NFL Draft is still a long way out, but if Brazzell keeps stacking numbers like this, the “WR1” projection won’t sound bold at all.
