Vols Unveil Summitt Blue Adidas Uniforms in Ongoing Rollout

KNOXVILLE – Tennessee revealed its new Summitt Blue Adidas uniforms on Wednesday, continuing the rollout of its full uniform lineup after the school’s 10 year partnership with Adidas went into effect July 1. The Vols debuted the Orange set on Monday, unveiled the White set on Tuesday and will close the week with the Dark Mode reveal on Thursday.
“The Summitt Blue uniforms are identifiable and easily recognizable, fostering a sense of unity among Lady Volunteer fans, staff and alumni," the university said in a statement. "The Summitt Blue volleyball uniforms are sleeveless and feature the Lady Vol logo, as well as the Tennessee bold wordmark below the back numbers. The Summitt Blue women's basketball uniforms feature the Lady Vols script, along with new striping on the side panel of the top and the shorts. The Summitt Blue softball uniforms, which retain their classic feel, feature the Lady Vols script and a Summitt legacy patch on the left sleeve. The Summitt Blue soccer uniforms feature the Lady Vols script and a subtle, fading checkerboard sublimation, as well as a Lady Vol logo on the back neck. Like the orange and white ones, all the Summitt Blue uniforms feature a new number font, combining traditional block with a modern style. The Tennessee creative team, alongside many adidas designers, worked for months to create an updated style to better represent the Tennessee brand."
