KNOXVILLE– For the first time since dropping out of the rankings on Mar. 30, Tennessee is back in the D1Baseball Top 25, landing at No. 24 in the latest poll after taking two of three on the road against Oklahoma in Oklahoma City.

Tennessee’s corner infielders set the tone for the Vols against the Sooners. First baseman Levi Clark homered twice and drove in five runs, while third baseman Henry Ford also left the yard twice at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Outfielder Reese Chapman added an RBI in all three games, bringing the Parker (Co.) native to 44 runs driven in as Tennessee heads into postseason play.

The Vols earned the No. 10 seed in the SEC Tournament and will face No. 15 seed South Carolina on Tuesday at Hoover Met Stadium. Freshman left-hander Cameron Appenzeller will make his second career start against the Gamecocks, with first pitch set for 5:30 p.m. ET on SEC Network Plus. The winner advances to meet No. 7 seed Arkansas on Wednesday.
