Tennessee’s leading 2027 running back target is set to return to Knoxville again this weekend.

Five-star running back David Gabriel Georges is set to return to Rocky Top for the Vols’ nighttime matchup with Oklahoma this weekend, Gabriel Georges told VolQuest’s Matt Ray.

Originally hailing from Quebec, Canada, Gabriel Georges now stars at the Baylor School in Chattanooga. He was accompanied by family from Quebec during his visit to Knoxville for Tennessee’s win over Arkansas.

Ranked as the No. 18 overall player in the 2027 cycle, and his performance has already established himself as one of the most coveted prospects in the nation.

In his rising sophomore season in 2024, Gabriel Georges totaled 1,103 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns on just 114 carries.

An absolute nightmare for opposing defenses.

The 6-foot, 205-pound standout kept his momentum rolling this fall, highlighted by a strong showing last Friday against Ensworth. He rushed for 205 yards and two touchdowns in a 35-21 win that moved the Red Raiders to 8-0.

Tennessee will host Oklahoma at Neyland Stadium on Saturday, with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.

A strong group of top recruits is expected to be on hand for the Vols’ matchup.
