Rutgers transfer Landon Mack committed to Tennessee on Sunday.

Mack is arguably Tony Vitello’s biggest commitment so far in the current transfer portal cycle.

He’s a right-handed pitcher who made the Freshman All-American team in 2025.

Mack chose the Vols over LSU, marking a big-time recruiting win for the Vols over the Tigers, who are fresh off another national championship victory.

Mack had a 4.03 ERA this past season, pitching 80.1 innings and notching 70 strikeouts.

“After long conversations with family and prayers with our maker, I have decided to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Tennessee!" Mack said.
