VFL Keenan Pili Is Getting An Opportunity In The NFL

A 2024 Vol Football team captain is getting a shot at the NFL, according to a report from A to Z Sports.

VFL linebacker Keenan Pili, whose Tennessee career was plagued by injury, is set to try out with the New Orleans Saints.

The NFL transaction report on Tuesday listed Pili as a Saints try-out, per A to Z.

He was among eight players listed and one of two linebackers in the group.

Pili, a transfer from BYU originally, had Tennessee fans excited with his potential before both his 2023 and ‘24 seasons were cut short.

In 2023, Pili’s season was over before it began as he suffered an arm injury vs. Virginia in week one. Then, last season, he went down with a torn ACL against Florida.

Hopefully Pili will find his way onto the roster. Staying healthy will be paramount.
