Tennessee basketball now knows when it will face Syracuse in this year’s ACC/SEC Challenge.

The SEC announced the Vols and Orange will square off Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2 inside the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse.

This will serve as the second consecutive year the two programs have met in the inter-conference challenge.

Tennessee cruised past Syracuse 96-70 in last year’s showcase at Thompson-Boling Arena, led by Chaz Lanier’s 26 points.

The Vols hold a 5–3 all‑time series lead over the Orange.

Tennessee’s first trip to Syracuse came in 1993, a 98–65 loss at the Carrier Dome.
