Texas A&M Forward Fatmata Janneh Commits to Lady Vols

KNOXVILLE – Kim Caldwell and the Lady Vols have added the seventh to their offseason portal class as Texas A&M forward Fatmata Janneh committed to Tennessee on Tuesday, she announced on social media.

Janneh, a native of London, England, spent one season in College Station after transferring from Saint Peter’s and made an instant impact for the Aggies. She appeared in 27 games, starting all of them, and averaged 11.4 points and 9.7 rebounds per game. Listed at 6-foot-2, she shot 43.3% from the field and 33% from three while adding 1.4 steals and 1.1 assists in 26.4 minutes.

Before her stop in College Station, Janneh spent two seasons at Saint Peter’s, earning 2024-25 MAAC First Team honors after averaging a double-double with 18.2 points and 11.6 rebounds per game as a sophomore.

An incoming senior, Janneh becomes the seventh portal addition for the Lady Vols this offseason. She joins Liberty guard Avery Mills, Northern Arizona guard Naomi White, Stanford forward Harper Peterson, Georgia guard Rylie Theuerkauf, Georgia forward Zhen Craft, and Auburn guard Harissoum Coulibaly.
