Stop me if you’ve heard this before.
Another rankings update, another slide for Tristen Keys.
Once the No. ranked wide receiver in the 2026 cycle, Keys has now dropped to No. 7 nationally at his position, according to Rivals’ latest update released Monday.
The Tennessee commit also fell TWENTY spots overall, from No. 19 to No. 39.
It’s the second time this fall Keys has taken a hit from Rivals in the rankings.
He lost his top spot in September that settled him at No. 2.
Two months later, he’s outside the top 5.
Other outlets such as 247Sports, still lists Keys as a five-star and No. 1 ranked wideout, a ranking many believe he deserves.
The 6-foot-2.5, 180 pound star out of Hattiesburg, Mississippi flipped to Tennessee from SEC foe LSU on Aug. 28.
Despite the rankings drop, Keys remains a cornerstone of Tennessee’s 2026 class alongside Faizon Brandon and his flip from LSU still stands as a major recruiting win for wide receivers coach Kelsey Pope.
