Tennessee Tight End Ethan Davis Named to Mackey Award Watch List

KNOXVILLE – Tennessee tight end Ethan Davis has been named to the John Mackey Award Preseason Watch List, it was announced Wednesday afternoon.
Davis, a redshirt junior from Atlanta and Collins Hill High School, appeared in nine games for the Vols last season, starting four, and posted career‑highs with 21 receptions for 257 yards and 2 touchdowns. His biggest outing came in Gainesville, hauling in 5 receptions for 72 yards and a touchdown against Florida to help Tennessee secure its first win in The Swamp since 2003.
The Mackey Award is presented annually to the nation’s top tight end and will be awarded at the College Football Awards show on Dec. 10.
