Tennessee is not a top 10 job in college football, according to On3 Sports “experts.”

Andy Staples and Ari Wasserman each released their top 10 lists on Wednesday detailing which jobs they thought were the best in the sport.

On3 listed the following criteria for a school being a great job:

  • Total support from the school in terms of resources and alignment between the athletic department and the president’s office.

  • A passionate (and preferably wealthy) fan/donor base.

  • A history of success plus a repeatable model of recent success.

  • Proximity to excellent recruits.

Hard to see how Tennessee doesn’t check the box on all of these criteria.

Oddly enough, Florida and USC also didn’t make either expert’s top 10.

Georgia, Texas, Ohio State, and Oregon seems to be the consensus top 4:
