No. 7 Tennessee softball (30-5, 7-5 SEC) is again at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium tonight, hosting No. 25 South Carolina (22-15, 2-7 SEC) for a three‑game set as the Lady Vols look to halt a two‑series skid. Tennessee dropped two of three at Florida in Gainesville before falling in a home series last weekend against Ole Miss.
The biggest concern entering the weekend is the offense. The Lady Vols bats have gone unusually quiet, as Tennessee hasn’t scored more than four runs in a conference game since March 8, when they put up eight against LSU. Since then, the Lady Vols are 4-6 in SEC play and have scored exactly four runs in just two of those games.
First pitch tonight is scheduled for 6 p.m. Eastern and will stream on SEC Network+.
