Five-star wide receiver Kesean Bowman got to witness Neyland Stadium at its best when the Vols played Georgia two weeks ago.
That seemed to make a major impact on the 2027 prospect who decommitted from Oregon last Friday.
Bowman had been committed ot the Ducks since July.
Chris Brazzell’s outstanding performance against the ‘Dawgs caught Bowman’s attention, according to Rivals’ Chad Simmons.
It would be hard not to be impressed as a receiver seeing Brazzell haul in three touchdown catches for 177 yards.
The 247Sports Composite has the Brentwood, TN native listed as a 5-star prospect and the No. 36 player overall in the class of ‘27.
As expected, a couple of other big dogs in recruiting — Ohio State and Texas — are heavily interested in Bowman.
Oregon. Ohio State. Texas.
That’s about as stiff as competition gets on the recruiting trail, but Bowman’s recent comments reflect he’s serious about the Vols.
According to Rivals, Tennessee has “emerged as the program with the most momentum.”
UT currently has one commitment in the ‘27 class — local legacy linebacker JP Peace, who is the grandson of Phillip Fulmer.
