That nimrod who stomped on Max Gilbert’s foot last Saturday will be suspended for UAB’s Oct. 4 against Army, Blazers head coach Trent Dilfer announced earlier this week.

Sirad Bryant, a Georgia Tech transfer, was flagged in the first quarter after intentionally stomping on the right foot of Vols kicker Max Gilbert following his third extra point.

“Sirad is not here. It has been well‑publicized the mistake he made Saturday. He has made a formal apology. He knows he made a mistake. He is willing to take the consequences of his poor decision‑making,” Dilfer said. “He won’t play next game. He’ll still be a full member of our team. We love Sirad. Sirad is a great kid, a very big part of our team. He’ll still help us try to go win against Army, he just won’t be on the field.”

Bryant later issued his own apology on social media, calling the stomp “inexcusable” and apologizing directly to Gilbert.

Through four games this season, Bryant has recorded 18 tackles and three tackles for loss.

One game suspension? That clown deserves to be sidelined A LOT longer than that.
