Have you heard of linebacker JP Peace?

He’s a local kid from West High School, listed at 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds and set to graduate in the class of 2027.

Today, he received an offer to play football at the University of Tennessee.

He’s a talented prospect who already had offers from Florida State and Virginia Tech among others.

More than that, he’s got Tennessee Orange in his blood.

Peace is the son of VFL linebacker Robert Peace — and the grandson of Phillip Fulmer.

JP’s father played at UT in the early 2000s and amassed 164 total tackles in 37 career games.

The elder Peace had an especially strong senior year in which 103 of those tackles came.

And Fulmer, well, you know all about Fulmer. His accolades don’t need repeating.

Will JP Peace commit to Tennessee? He’s just a sophomore so he’s got plenty of time to get better on the field — and plenty of time to decide.
