Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs — formerly known as the pro wrestler “Kane” — shared a memory of Hulk Hogan this afternoon on X.
The WWE Hall of Famer and former world champion, Hogan, died Thursday at the age of 71.
“Hulk Hogan was a true legend,” Kane wrote. “I was fortunate to work with him a couple of times, including this memorable one. It was easy to do a Hulkster impersonation when, like millions of guys my age, I'd practiced it in the mirror a thousand times growing up.

Kane shared a video of himself with Hogan and The Rock cutting a promo:
"It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness that we confirm we have lost a legend," the Hulkster’s family said in a statement on social media. "May we all take solace in the wonderful memories he left behind for the millions of fans worldwide whose lives he touched for more than four decades."
Hogan was pronounced dead Thursday morning after going into cardiac arrest in Clearwater, FL.
The Clearwater Police Department said there were no signs of foul play or suspicious activity.
Hogan had recently been “experiencing a serious medical-related issue.”
