It appears that my colleague Russell Smith has leaked what he believes to be Tennessee’s 2026 football schedule.
“Piecing together all the clues,” Russ said, “Sounds like UT home schedule next year will be Texas, LSU, Auburn, Alabama, and Kentucky.”
The road games, according to Russ, will be Vanderbilt, Texas A&M, Arkansas (oh God), and South Carolina (OH GOD).
I don’t know if this will be the actual schedule, but Russ felt confident enough to tweet it out.
If everything here does hold true… WOW… What a schedule.
Texas, LSU, Alabama, and Auburn all coming to Neyland? (plus Kentucky) … gonna be some hot tickets and hot competition (except Kentucky).
Maybe the most-anticipated home slate in Neyland history.
As far as the road, one of them is at Vandy so that’s good. Going back to A&M will be fun. Undoubtedly a big game atmosphere there.
At Arkansas and South Carolina again… I don’t even want to think about it right now. Maybe both will have first-year coaches?
The official schedule reveal for all SEC teams covering the next four years airs tonight on the SEC Network.
We’ll see if Russ has this one right. When has he ever been wrong?
