The twin freshmen duo mark the fifth and sixth Lady Vols to leave the program.

Tennessee twin freshman guards Mia and Mya Pauldo are entering the transfer portal after just one season in Knoxville, Taila Goodman of On3 first reported Tuesday.

Mia Pauldo, a former five-star recruit and the No. 9 overall prospect in the 2025 class, emerged in her freshman campaign, becoming the third-leading scorer on Kim Caldwell’s squad last season. The 5‑foot‑6 guard averaged 10.4 points and 2.5 assists per game, showcasing the ability to score at all three levels. Her breakout performance came in a 90–80 road win at Mississippi State, where she totaled a career‑high 26 points on 8‑of‑12 shooting while adding two steals.

Her twin sister, Mya, saw more limited action in her first year but contributed 1.8 points per game and provided backcourt depth for the Lady Vols.

The Pauldos, who hail from Paterson (NJ), were expected to play a major role in Tennessee’s 2026–27 rotation, especially Mia, whose scoring ability would’ve only gotten better in year two.

Instead, their exit leaves Caldwell facing an even steeper rebuild. With the twins’ departure, only four players remain on the Lady Vols roster.
