Lady Vols Add West Virginia Transfer Forward Riley Makalusky

KNOXVILLE – Kim Caldwell's 2026-27 roster is officially set after the Lady Vols landed their 13th transfer portal addition with the commitment of West Virginia forward Riley Makalusky, she announced on social media.

Makalusky, a Fishers (IN) native, spent her first two college seasons at Butler before transferring to West Virginia for the 2025-26 campaign. She appeared in 35 games for the Mountaineers and made 1 start while averaging 4.7 points and 2.0 rebounds in 14.8 minutes per game. She helped West Virginia win the program’s second Big 12 Conference title and emerged as one of the most efficient perimeter shooters in the league, hitting 43.2% from three and knocking down 35 of her 81 attempts.

Listed at 6-foot-2, Makalusky becomes the final piece of a massive transfer class that includes Liberty guard Avery Mills, Northern Arizona guard Naomi White, Stanford forward Harper Peterson, Georgia forward Zhen Craft, Auburn guard Harissoum Coulibaly, Georgia guard Rylie Theuerkauf, Texas A&M forward Fatmata Janneh, Maryland guard Kaylene Smikle, Penn State guard Shaelyn Steele, Seton Hall guard Jada Eads, Texas guard Aaliyah Moore, and East Carolina guard Kennedy Fauntleroy.
