In‑State Four‑Star CB Miles Brown Picks Kentucky Over Tennessee
By Aidan Sidoti
MARTIN – Tennessee has come up short in another in‑state recruiting battle. After missing out on Knoxville‑area four‑star safety Jarrell Chandler, who committed to Clemson Monday, the Vols have now lost four‑star cornerback Miles Brown to Kentucky, he announced.
Brown, who attends Westview High School in Martin, is listed at 6‑foot, 185 pounds and ranked the No. 434 overall prospect in the 2027 class and a top‑20 player in Tennessee, per the 247Sports Composite. Helping lead Westview to a 14-0 record and a TSSAA Division 1 Class 3A state championship as a junior, he finished with 40 tackles, 6 pass breakups, and 5 interceptions on defense.
Brown had been scheduled to take an official visit to Tennessee the weekend of June 5, but that trip is now expected to be canceled following his commitment to the Wildcats.
