Tennessee had a productive weekend on Rocky Top hosting some of their top football commits on official visits.

Some currently uncommitted players visited as well. Josh Heupel and his staff hosted 16 players altogether over the weekend.

Five star QB Faizon Brandon was the headliner for committed players. His main goal on his OV was to welcome other highly-ranked players and possibly attempt to get players to flip their commitment.

One of the most important players Tennessee is attempting to flip, who by all accounts had a great visit, was five-star WR Tristen Keys — a current LSU commit.

Brandon and Keys did a photoshoot together with Heupel yesterday and the players appeared to have good chemistry.

The staff also hosted four/five star EDGE Tristian Givens. The Columbus, Georgia prospect said he felt “at home” while visiting UT.

The Vols seem to be firmly in the mix for the standout defensive player. “They’ve always been top dog,” said Givens.

Another interesting nugget of info from this weekend was four star OL Li’Marcus Jones de-committing from Ole Miss after his visit to Tennessee.

On top of those names UT also hosted four star LB TJ White, four star ATH Legend Bey, four star DL Dereon Albert, four star WR Craig Dandridge, four star CB Zyan Gibson, and three star CB Jamyan Theodore among others.

Tennessee will work especially hard to flip Alabama commit Gibson and they say TJ White is a “big priority.”

The Vols seem like they did a great job this weekend and if Tennessee can flip a few of these guys and add some more commits this could end up being one of the best classes in UT recruiting history.
