VFL standout Dylan Sampson is wasting no time making an impression in Cleveland.

The former SEC Offensive Player of the Year is making the most of his opportunity so far in the Buckeye State, quickly emerging as a training camp standout thanks in-part to his blazing-fast cuts, natural vision, and elite burst through the line of scrimmage.

It’s coming at the perfect time.

With Cleveland’s top draft pick Quinshon Judkins being a screw-up and already facing legal charges for domestic violence before even playing his first professional game and veteran running back Jerome Ford sidelined with an undisclosed injury, Sampson has stepped in into first-team reps and has certainly made his mark.

If early training camp is any indication, Sampson might not just be filling in. His crisp footwork and relentless motor is forcing coaches to take notice in an otherwise chaotic backfield.
