KNOXVILLE – Tennessee’s top running back target is now down to four schools and has an official visit set to return to Knoxville.
Five-star running back David Gabriel Georges released his top four schools Tuesday afternoon, naming Tennessee as one of the programs still in the hunt. The Quebec, Canada native who stars at Baylor School in Chattanooga included Ohio State, Ole Miss, and Georgia in his top group, per Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett.
Gabriel Georges, rated a five‑star and the No. 10 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite, is also ranked the No. 1 player in the state of Tennessee, ahead of Tennessee wide receiver commit Kesean Bowman.
He rushed for 1,605 yards and 25 touchdowns last season as a junior at Baylor, showing why he’s rated as a top-10 talent in the 2027 cycle.
The 6‑foot, 205‑pound standout has now locked in his summer official visits. He will visit Ohio State the weekend of May 29, followed by Tennessee on June 5, Ole Miss on June 12, and Georgia on June 19 to close things out.
Indications point to an Ohio State‑Tennessee battle, with the Vols hoping to keep the elite in‑state running back home in the Volunteer State.
