BOOM: Five‑Star RB David Gabriel Georges Chooses Tennessee

CHATTANOOGA – The crown jewel is officially home.

Five‑star running back David Gabriel Georges, the nation’s top uncommitted player in the 2027 cycle, is staying in the state of Tennessee and committing to the Vols over Ohio State and Ole Miss, announcing his decision on the CBS Sports College Football YouTube channel.

A native of Quebec, Canada, Georges stars at powerhouse Baylor School in Chattanooga and is ranked as the No. 10 overall recruit nationally, the No. 2 running back in the country and the top player in Tennessee, per the 247Sports Composite.

Listed at 6‑foot and 195 pounds, Georges delivered a monster junior season in 2025. He became the first Canadian ever named MaxPreps Player of the Year after rushing for 1,749 yards on 161 attempts (10.8 YPC) and 27 touchdowns, leading the Red Raiders to a 12‑0 record and the TSSAA Division II‑AAA State Championship.

Georges becomes the 18th commitment in Tennessee’s 2027 class and the highest‑rated pledge for head coach JoshHeupel and staff.
