Welcome to college football recruiting in 2025. An absolute shit show.

Four-star EDGE rusher Hezekiah Harris, who has been committed to Auburn since July of 2024, will announce a “final decision” on Sept. 1, choosing between Auburn, Florida, and Tennessee, per Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett.

The 6-foot-5, 230-pounder out of Huntsville, Alabama is Auburn’s fourth highest-rated commit in the 2026 cycle, ranking as the No. 99 overall prospect according to the Rivals Industry Rankings

Since pledging to Auburn on July 27, 2024, Harris made it clear he wasn’t done taking visits.

He’s hit Knoxville three times since the start of April: first for the Vols’ spring game (Apr. 11-12), then for the 865 Live event in May, and finally for his official visit from June 20-22.

Florida and Auburn each hosted Harris for official visits in June, but the persistence of UT outside linebackers coach Levorn Harbin may have Tennessee quietly leading this recruitment.

“He's a great coach, great father," Harris told GoVols247 on Harbin. “I really like that. I like that he's a coach that wants to get you to play early. I really like that about him.”

The Vols already hold commitments from EDGE rushers Zach Groves and CJ Edwards, but flipping Harris would elevate the Vols 2026 class back into the top ten of the national recruiting rankings.
