Felix Okpara Selected No. 46 by Orlando Magic in 2026 NBA Draft

BROOKLYN – Tennessee senior center Felix Okpara has been selected with the No. BLANK overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft by the BLANK on Wednesday night in Brooklyn, becoming the third Volunteer taken in this year’s draft. He joins forward Nate Ament, who went No. 13 to the Milwaukee Bucks, and pointwho went No. 42 to the San Antonio Spurs.

Okpara, a native of Lagos, Nigeria who played his high school basketball at Link Academy in Branson (MO), appeared in 35 games for Tennessee this season, starting 34. He averaged 8.0 points and tied for the team lead with 6.3 rebounds in 26.9 minutes per game while shooting 59.7% from the field.

Okpara spent two seasons on Rocky Top after transferring from Ohio State. Listed at 6-foot-11 and 243 pounds, he was named to the 2025-26 SEC All Defensive Team and expects to be an immediate presence in the front court for new Magic coach Sean Sweeney
