Vols Welcome Top Recruits For Pivotal Weekend vs Oklahoma

As Oklahoma rolls into Knoxville for a key SEC showdown, Tennessee is gearing up for a loaded recruiting weekend.

Most of Tennessee’s 2026 class is set to return to Knoxville this weekend, with top prospects expected at Neyland for Saturday’s showdown.

Here’s the visitor list of all uncommitted prospects, per On3’s Steve Wiltfong.

2026 Visitors

Amari Latimer, RB– Tyrone, GA (Sandy Creek HS) – The four-star Wisconsin running back commit will take an official visit to Tennessee this weekend. Ranked among the nation’s top 20 at his position, he’s also drawing interest from Ohio State and Miami.

Micah Smith, OL– Vero Beach, FL (Vero Beach HS)– Ranked among the nation’s top 250 prospects, UCLA commit Micah Smith will take an official visit to Tennessee this weekend. The Vols are gaining traction, with Ohio State and Ole Miss also firmly in the mix.

Franklin Whitley, DL– Greenville, SC (Greenville HS)– The 6-foot-7, 265-pounder will take his first visit to Knoxville this weekend. South Carolina is the team to beat.

2027 Visitors

David Gabriel Georges, RB– Chattanooga, TN (Baylor School)– The five-star running back is set to return to Tennessee after visiting for the Arkansas game earlier this month. Momentum is building for the Vols.

Joshua Dobson, CB– Fort Mill, SC (Catawba Ridge HS)– The No. 3 prospect in the 2027 class will be making his fourth visit to Knoxville.

DJ Jacobs, EDGE– Roswell, GA (Blessed Trinity Catholic HS)– The No. 1 recruit in the 2027 cycle and Georgia lean will make his second visit to Rocky Top.

Caden Moss, OT– Jackson, MS (Jackson Academy)– The five-star and No. 1 recruit in the state of Mississippi will be accompanied by Tennessee commits TJ White and Dereon Albert.

Jaiden Bryant, EDGE– Columbia, SC (Irmo HS)– A top-40 prospect in the 2027 class, he holds interest in Tennessee, South Carolina, and Alabama.

Kaden Henderson, LB– Tampa, FL (Jesuit HS)– No. 2 ranked linebacker in the country.

Tyson Robinson, RB– Brandon, MS (Brandon HS)– Top-five running back in 2027.

Tae Walden, WR– Collierville, TN (Collierville HS)– Four-star receiver and top 10 prospect in the state is very high on the Vols. 

Jarrell Chandler, S– Knoxville, TN (Halls HS)– The hometown kid will take his second visit to Tennessee with the Vols gaining traction.

Kenneth Simon, LB– Brentwood, TN (Brentwood Academy)– The four-star linebacker is back in Knoxville after visiting for Tennessee’s 56-24 win over UAB.

Anthony Sweeney, EDGE– Olney, MD (Our Lady of Good Counsel HS)– Five-star and ranks No. 3 for edge rushers in the 2027 cycle. Sweeney will make his first game visit to Tennessee.

Hayden Stepp, CB– Las Vegas, NV (Bishop Gorman HS)– The top player in Nevada will be making his first trip to Knoxville.

Miles Brown, CB– Martin, TN (Westview HS)– Brown was offered by Tennessee on June 5th.

Jaden Butler, ATH– Brownsville, TN (Haywood HS)– The three-star athlete is a priority for the Vols.

Princeton Uwaifo, OT– Murfreesboro, TN (Siegel HS)– The four-star offensive tackle is coming down to Tennessee and Nebraska. 

Jaden Upshaw, WR– Leesburg, GA (Lee County HS)– The top-80 prospect will be making his first visit to Tennessee.

Seneca Driver, TE– Danville, KY (Boyle County HS)– The No. 1 player in Kentucky is very high on Notre Dame.

Sean Tatum, OL– Port Saint Lucie, FL (John Carroll HS)– The 6-foot-4, 310-pound mauler will make his way to Knoxville Saturday. 

Jaylen Mercer, DL– Cincinnati, OH (Winton Woods HS)– This will be visit No. 3 to Knoxville for the four-star Cincy product.

Davion Jones, S– Charlotte, NC (West Charlotte HS)– The four-star safety is extremely high on Clemson early in the process.

Rion Jackson, EDGE– Annapolis, MD (Annapolis Sr. HS)– Jackson was between Tennessee and Penn State before the James Franklin firing.
