KNOXVILLE – After taking an official visit to Knoxville on Wednesday through Friday, it didn’t take long for VCU transfer guard Terrence Hill Jr. to make his decision. The 6‑foot‑3, 180‑pound sharpshooter committed to Tennessee, he announced on social media.

Hill Jr. averaged 15.0 points and 2.8 assists per game in 25.1 minutes this past season, earning A10 Sixth Man of the Year honors. He shot 46.6% from the field and 37% from three on 219 attempts while adding 2.7 rebounds and 0.6 steals per game. Across two seasons with the Rams, he totaled 92 made threes, becoming one of the top shooting threats in the conference.

Hill Jr. joins Belmont graduate transfer and Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year Tyler Lundblade as another high‑level shooter headed to play for Rick Barnes in Knoxville for the 2026-27 season. Lundblade shot 40.6% from beyond the arc on 283 attempts, giving the Vols multiple proven floor spacers.
