Vols Receive Expert Prediction for Elite 2027 Defensive Lineman

Tennessee just picked up an expert prediction for one of the top defensive linemen in the 2027 cycle.

On3’s Steve Wiltfong logged a 60% expert prediction for four-star defensive lineman Kaden Fife to commit to the Vols.

The class of 2027 standout from Chattooga High in Summerville, Georgia is set to announce his decision on Nov. 21.

Fife, ranked No. 269 nationally in the ‘27 cycle, is down to four finalists: Tennessee, Texas A&M, Georgia Tech, and Auburn.

But the momentum appears to be trending toward the Volunteers.

“What Coach Heupel is doing in Tennessee is going to be special,” Fife told Wiltfong. “They are for sure a team I can see myself playing for.”

Landing Fife would give Tennessee a strong early foundation in the trenches. The Vols’ 2027 class holds three commits and currently ranks 15th nationally.
