Week 5 of the NFL season saw plenty of VFL impact plays.
Here’s how Tennessee’s finest performed this week.
James Pearce (Atlanta Falcons DE)
Pearce and the Falcons were on a bye this week.
Joshua Palmer (Buffalo Bills WR)
Hauled in two catches for 36 yards in the Bills’ 23-20 loss to New England.
Cade Mays (Carolina Panthers OL)
Mays logged all 70 offensive snaps at center and did not allow a sack in Carolina’s 27-24 win against Miami.
Darnell Wright (Chicago Bears OL)
Wright and the Bears were on a bye this week.
Dylan Sampson (Cleveland Browns RB)
Sampson carried the ball one time for -4 yards and caught one pass for 6 yards in Cleveland’s 21-17 loss to Minnesota in London.
Cedric Tillman (Cleveland Browns WR)
Tillman was inactive in the Browns’ loss with a hamstring injury.
Joe Milton III (Dallas Cowboys QB)
Milton did not see any game action in the Cowboys’ 37-22 win over the Jets.
Kamal Hadden (Green Bay Packers CB)
Hadden and the Packers were on a bye this week.
Derek Barnett (Houston Texans DE)
Logged one tackle in Houston’s blowout win on the road against Baltimore.
Darrell Taylor (Houston Texans DE)
Taylor played 14 defensive stats but did not record any stats in the Texans’ 44-10 win over Baltimore.
Jakob Johnson (Houston Texans FB)
Johnson was placed on injured reserve with a hamstring injury.
Omarr Norman-Lott (Kansas City Chiefs DT)
Norman-Lott is questionable with a shoulder injury tonight.
Trey Smith (Kansas City Chiefs OL)
Smith and the Chiefs take on Jacksonville on Monday Night Football at 8:15 p.m. ET.
Jaylen McCollough (Los Angeles Rams SAF)
Recorded two solo tackles in the Rams’ overtime loss against San Francisco.
Byron Young (Los Angeles Rams LB)
The NFC Defensive Player of the Month recorded six tackles, three quarterback hits, and half a sack in Los Angeles’ 26-23 loss.
Dont’e Thornton Jr. (Las Vegas Raiders WR)
Played 47% of the offensive snaps but failed to record a catch on two targets.
Matthew Butler (Miami Dolphins DE)
Logged 29 defensive snaps but did not record any stats in Miami’s 27-24 loss to Carolina.
Jaylen Wright (Miami Dolphins RB)
Wright was inactive for the Dolphins’ loss.
Theo Jackson (Minnesota Vikings SAF)
Recorded eight tackles as Minnesota won 21-17 over Cleveland in London.
Joshua Dobbs (New England Patriots Quarterback)
